Armed Security Guard – Full Time

Location:  Helena, MT

Rate: $22.50+/HR

Available Schedule: Sat - Mon: 7PM - 7AM

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The  Armed Security Officer  position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Armed Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers and serve as a physical deterrent.

Our highly sought after Armed Security officer positions include full training. If you have experience in security, law enforcement or military you are a great fit for this role.

What Your Day May Look Like:

• Conflict resolution and De-escalation.
• Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the client’s premises.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.
• Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written witness reports.

Position Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older. 
• High School Diploma or GED Required. 
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift. 
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift. 
• 2 years security experience and / or prior military experience needed. 
• Demonstrated safety and weapons handling required.
