This position reports to Regional Business Blending Line Manager Your role and responsibilities Working as a Project Engineer, you will be the technical lead and/or design authority for Process Automation engineering projects in the Blending & Formulation Systems business line, both in the US and globally. You will provide technical support, details, and deliverables to existing and prospective customers. The work model can be hybrid or remote. #LI-hybrid #LI-remote This role contributes to the Process Automation, Energy Industries Division in Houston, TX or Cleveland, OH. Key responsibilities include: Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures for engineering assignments. Providing technical support during testing, installation, and commissioning activities. Assisting in preparing proposals and presentations for engineering projects. Performing design verification using checklists according to standards and guidelines. Team dynamics You will join a dynamic, talented, high-performing team where you can thrive. Qualifications for the role 2+ years of engineering experience, preferably with PLC and/or DCS systems. 2 years of experience with Batch MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) is preferred. Experience working closely with customers to shape and deliver solutions, using feedback for continuous improvement. Ability to develop and review standard processes, tools, and techniques, ensuring compliance with safety and contractual standards. Experience creating work plans, budgets, and conducting risk assessments. Supporting contract managers with claims related to project scope changes, including cost and time impacts. Ability to resolve technical issues remotely and onsite within the US and globally. Candidates must have valid work authorization for ABB in the US. More about us We value diversity.
