A community resource outpatient facility is seeking a child and adolescent psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located about 25 miles east of Atlanta, Georgia.
This position is for one day per week, preferably on Wednesdays, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the possibility of additional hours based on the provider's interest and availability. The role involves primarily on-site services with children and adolescents ages 5 to 19, with the option for a limited hybrid schedule. Experience working with children and adolescents is strongly preferred. The position focuses on serving a Medicaid-funded client base, conducting psychiatric evaluations, and providing medication management. The provider will be supported by a multidisciplinary team, including an LCSW, Medical Assistant, Program Manager, Office Manager, Lead School-Based Mental Health Therapist, and Clinical Director.
