Position Summary/Department Summary:
The BCH Outpatient Psychiatry Service offers comprehensive evaluations for a wide range of conditions that affect the mental, emotional, and social health of children and adolescents. New patients receive a diagnostic evaluation and specific treatment recommendations tailored to the child and family. We are currently seeking a 40-hour experienced social work to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing clinical social work services to assist patients and families cope with complex personal, family, medical and environmental problems.
• Experience with performing psychosocial and risk assessments, conducting evidence based therapy interventions, assigning diagnoses and developing and implementing interventions and treatment plans.
• Providing clinical supervision to student interns.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

• Master's degree in Social Work

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years plus of Social Work experience required
• Experience with children/adolescents and medical environment is highly desirable.
• Previous social work supervisory experience preferred
• One year experience with EB and/or IHT treatment in a clinic setting preferred
• Flexibility and ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Spanish language skills strongly preferred

Licensure/Certification:

• LICSW in the state of MA
