Job Description

A well established dealership is seeking an experienced Collections Manager with a background in collections support to secure payment arrangements. Must have time-management and organizational skills necessary to effectively handle multiple tasks and thrive in a performance-based call center environment. Display exceptional verbal and written communication, negotiation and active-listening skills, as well as the ability to easily establish rapport and credibility with customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage the Repossession Process
• Identify account status and use appropriate collection techniques.
• Comply with collection policies, various state and federal laws, rules and regulations governing credit and collections
• Locate customer through acceptable skip tracing techniques.
• Analyze customer financial information.
• Follows prescribed guidelines for bankruptcy, CCCS fraud and disputes.
• Manager a team of collection specialists

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of Recovery/Post Charge-Off Collections experience
• Smart, resourceful and a creative problem solver
• Stable employment record
• Ability to maintain outstanding attendance at all times
• Detail oriented and outstanding organizational skills
• Basic data-entry and typing skills
• College Degree - a Plus
• Bilingual Spanish a MUST!
