Established Heavy Civil Construction Contractor since 1974 seeking Construction Safety Officer for civil construction projects in Arkansas and surrounding areas.

Qualifications:

• Experience with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) construction projects preferred but not required
• 2 years of construction safety experience is preferred
• Ability to work independently at a project site
• Oversee and enforce safety protocols on construction sites to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
• Develop and implement safety training programs for construction personnel.
• Maintain accurate records of safety incidents and compliance documentation.
• Bilingual required
• HR and EEO experience preferred
