Lone Star Cowboy Church is seeking a
Creative Director with a heart for Jesus and a passion for using creative arts to help people encounter God. This is not just a jobit's a calling. As part of our Creative Ministry team, you'll play a vital role in advancing the Gospel by overseeing all aspects of church branding and creative communication across multiple platforms. From weekend worship services and special events to social media, video, and web design, your leadership will help shape how our church engages with the community and the world.
Role Overview The Creative Director is a ministry-minded leader who collaborates closely with the Lead Pastor and Worship Director to design and execute impactful, Christ-centered services and events. Youll guide the creative process from concept to completion, ensuring every visual, video, song, and social media post reflects the heart of our church and the truth of the Gospel.
Key Responsibilities - Provide vision and leadership to the Creative Ministry team in alignment with the churchs mission.
- Lead video production, motion graphics, and all forms of digital storytelling.
- Oversee and ensure consistency in branding, communication, and design across all church platforms.
- Collaborate with other ministries to support creative needs and bring ideas to life.
- Manage the Creative Ministry budget and approve AV/media technology purchases.
- Cultivate a Christ-centered team culture built on excellence, humility, and creativity.
- Maintain and expand the church's online and social media presence for greater Gospel impact.
Qualifications - A deep and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Proven experience in creative leadership, graphic/video design, and digital media.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to lead teams with grace, vision, and a servants heart.
- Commitment to the mission, values, and beliefs of Lone Star Cowboy Church.
Required Experience - Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience in a media-related field required
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Creative Suite
- Strong communication skills and an eye for detail and design
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and encourage others
- Minimum 3 years of experience in developing and leading volunteers and teams
- Knowledge of social media techniques and best practices preferred
- Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to build relationships
- Experience managing a budget effectively
- Proficiency with computer systems, including electronic communication software and membership software
- Proficient in Google Suite and other applicable church software (i.e., Breeze, Slack, Planning Center, etc.)
