Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Customer Service Specialist provides exceptional customer experiences by using strong consultative skills to understand and meet customer needs. This valued team member is well-versed in our diverse product offerings, including printing, signs & graphics, and shipping services. Responsibilities include taking orders, managing store operations, delivering pricing and product information, and recommending tailored FedEx Office solutions. The Customer Service Specialist will also operate and maintain various equipment, handle logistics of orders, stock materials, and oversee production queues while ensuring high-quality service.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follows supervisor instructions and supports team members in store operations.
  • Participates in training new team members.
    Service
  • Engages customers with consultative behaviors to identify their unique needs.
  • Offers expert guidance on printing, signs and graphics, and shipping options by recommending suitable FedEx Office services.
  • Delivers an outstanding customer experience by proactively addressing needs and suggesting alternatives.
  • Quickly resolves customer issues to ensure satisfaction.
  • Handles complex customer orders precisely and provides accurate pricing.
  • Prepares goods for shipping, including packaging and labeling.
  • Operates printing and binding equipment using customer-provided materials.
  • Keeps the store clean, safe, and well-organized.

  • Maintains confidentiality of customer data and delicate materials.
  • Processes financial transactions accurately using the Point of Sale system, including cash handling.
  • Repairs and stocks all equipment and supplies to ensure optimal performance.
  • Stays updated on merchandising materials and manages product displays.
  • Takes proactive measures to minimize errors and waste.
  • Completes financial paperwork and assists with reporting tasks related to sales and deposits.
  • Adheres to operational procedures along with HR, safety, customer service, and security policies.

  • Multitasks effectively in a busy environment.

  • Works independently with minimal supervision.
  • Complies with all team member standards outlined in the handbook.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 6 months of relevant experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ability to stand for the entire shift except for breaks.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds consistently.
  • Ability to bend and twist at the waist and knees regularly.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to cooperate and follow instructions effectively.
  • Capability to function in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
  • Ability to focus and maintain concentration for extended periods.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to regular attendance and adherence to business hours.

Pay: $22.10 - $25.97/hr
