About the opportunity

Teads is looking for a Design Intern to join our Creative Studio team. Are you capable of creating rich media ad formats (preferably for video and display) able to work within a fast-paced, high pressure, team-oriented environment? Are you hungry to work with the latest technologies and use your initiative to come up with unique designs and new ideas whilst ensuring best practice, usability and accessibility? What will you do?

• Work with Creative Strategists and designers to design and build compelling, interactive video and display ads that align with client briefs and brand guidelines.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Creative Strategy, Sales, Ad Operations) to translate client goals into effective visual solutions.
• Generate innovative, visually engaging ideas and custom creative concepts for both active campaigns and proactive pitches.
• Participate in brainstorms and pitch development with a collaborative, strategic mindset.
• Build design prototypes and high-impact visual demos to showcase product potential and new ad formats.
• Design materials true to various clients' brand identity and style guidelines

Who you are

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
• Demonstrated skill in motion graphics, video editing, and dynamic media formats.
• Ability to distill complex client goals into clean, effective visual outputs.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a passion for layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.
• A strong design portfolio showcasing digital design, motion work and/or interactive ads.
• Comfortable juggling multiple projects under tight deadlines, with strong time management and organizational skills.
• A self-starter with a collaborative attitude, eager to learn and push creative boundaries.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills - confident presenting ideas to internal teams and clients.

• Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JavaScript or basic understanding of how design fits into front-end development.
• 3D design and animation knowledge.
• Experience working with Google Slides/Docs, PowerPoint, or creative storytelling tools.
• Interest in the ad tech ecosystem, digital trends, and media innovation.

• College senior or recent graduate with a major in graphic design or advertising
• Able to come into the Teads Chicago office 2x per week

The pay range for this position is USD $15 - $20 per hour including on target earnings. The actual amount offered may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities. In addition to salary, you may be eligible for our competitive benefits and perks to support you and your family as part of Teads' total rewards package.
