Summary

The Education and Training Coordinator oversees a four-year, state registered electrical apprenticeship program to ensure adherence to Ohio's apprenticeship standards and IEC's nationally recognized curriculum.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement an academic schedule for the approaching school year. Lead Instructors and Trainers to ensure IEC's educational and training standards, operating procedures and administrative requirements are met.
• Train Instructors on any National CMS program or delivery enhancements. Ensure Instructors and Trainers have the necessary tools, equipment, material and supplies to conduct class and operate labs.
• Promote IEC Central Ohio by fostering relationships with community leaders and educators and participating in workplace development events.
• Participate in chapter-hosted events including skills competitions, the annual graduation ceremony, golf and related outings, etcetera.
