About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical CAD Operator to join our team. As an Electrical CAD Operator, you will be responsible for creating and modifying electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Your work will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our electrical systems. You will work closely with our engineering team to help engineers ensure that all designs meet industry standards and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in electrical drawing or related field
• 2+ years of experience in electrical CAD design
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as REVIT, AutoCAD or SolidWorks
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and components
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Create and modify electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams using CAD software
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure designs meet industry standards and regulations
• Review and analyze technical specifications and requirements
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all drawings and designs
• Communicate effectively with team members

Skills:

As an Electrical CAD Operator, you will use your strong understanding of electrical systems and components to create and modify accurate and efficient electrical designs. You will need to have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records of all drawings and designs. Additionally, you will need to have strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients. Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks, is essential to succeed in this role. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards, as well as experience with 3D modeling software, is preferred.
