The Legal Compliance Senior Advisor plays a key role in supporting the Ethics Office operations by serving as a trusted advisor to business leaders, workforce members, and cross-functional partners. This role helps guide the business in achieving its goals while ensuring alignment with
The Cigna Group's Code of Ethics , compliance policies and procedures, and applicable laws and regulations-proactively identifying and mitigating compliance risks.
Key Responsibilities - Serve as a strategic compliance advisor across business areas, fostering ethical decision-making and adherence to corporate standards
- Manage and respond to conflict of interest disclosures and compliance policy inquiries
- Assist in the triage and resolution of compliance concerns
- Support client RFPs and supplier contract reviews related to Ethics provisions
- Review, revise, and maintain compliance policies and procedures
- Contribute to enterprise-wide Ethics communications and awareness initiatives
- Lead and support special projects and other duties as assigned
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Legal, Enterprise Compliance & Risk, Human Resources, Employee Relations, Medical Officers, Government Affairs, Global Procurement, Corporate Communications, Community Services, Account Management, Internal Audit, and senior business leaders
Qualification/Skills: - Bachelor's or Graduate degree, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 10 + years of experience in the health insurance or healthcare services industry
- At least 5+ years of direct experience in Compliance and Ethics.
- Proven experience managing projects from initiation to completion
- Strong ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships, influencing others to adhere to compliance standards and best practices
- Skilled in evaluating complex or ambiguous requests and providing clear, tailored compliance guidance
- Demonstrated ability to analyze multifaceted data, documents, or scenarios to identify key risks and recommend actionable solutions
- Experience in assessing current processes and proposing effective improvements
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work across disciplines and departments
- Deep understanding of The Cigna Group's Code of Ethics and compliance policies and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as needed

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 108,500 - 180,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
