Job Summary :

Industry leading children’s consumer goods company on a rapid growth pace is seeking a Financial Analyst to report to the Sr. Director Finance. This individual will contribute across several critical functions, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Senior Management. The ideal candidate will be a passionate team player that can effectively manage multiple tasks. This position will launch a solid career growth path for the right person in a fast paced, exciting entrepreneurial environment.

To ensure success as a Financial Analyst, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in financial analysis, and a superior knowledge of Excel.

Principal Responsibilities :

• Responsible for developing streamlined accounting and financial processes, including financial reporting at the KPI level for senior management.
• Provide financial support and assist in all aspects of financial reporting and analysis for US and international operations.
• Perform financial analysis of business performance and address problems and areas where senior management should become more focused.
• Provide predictive financial information to allow for the proper business decisions and meaningful variance analysis for actual results versus forecast and budget targets.
• Provide financial support and assist with the licensor royalty reporting.
• Support system and process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy including Microsoft Dynamics NAV implementation.
• Design and maintain auditing reports to identify issues with ERP system data.
• Communicate effectively and accurately with our overseas team.
• Utilize ERP system to manage budget, forecast and finance information.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting required.
• Minimum two years related business analysis experience required.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Proven record of process improvement and innovative financial reporting.
• Passion for problem solving and business process improvement.
• Strong work ethic, high level of motivation, willingness to learn quickly.
• Excellent systems, technology and analytical skills.
• Ability to demonstrate competent self-reliance and resourcefulness.
• Ability to multi-task while delivering accurate results.
• Experience with ERP systems, databases and SQL is desired.
• Ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
