Fitness Instructor / Floor Trainer Wellness & Fitness
$40/hr | Part-Time | Greenport, NY
Schedule: 23 Days per Week | 23 Group Classes per Day + Gym Training Support

What Youll Be Doing
As a Fitness Instructor, you will lead group exercise classes and assist members in our fitness center to ensure safe, effective, and personalized support. Your role is central to helping our senior population maintain strength, mobility, and independence.
Lead scheduled group exercise classes for Assisted and Independent Living members
Design and teach classes focused on flexibility, cardio, strength/power, balance, and standing exercises
Provide one-on-one support and guidance in the fitness center during assigned hours
Modify exercises for a variety of ability levels and mobility needs
Promote safety and proper use of fitness equipment
Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages members to pursue their fitness goals
Collaborate with the Wellness team to continuously improve programs and services
Pay & Schedule
Hourly Rate:$45/hr (based on experience and certification)
Schedule: 23 days per week, including 23 group classes per day

What Were Looking For
Certification:Current certification through ACSM, NSCA, ACE, IDEA, ISSA, SFA, or other nationally accredited fitness organizations (required)
Experience:At least 1 year of experience teaching or training in a fitness setting (Senior Clientele Preferred)
