We are seeking a person able to work all three shifts as needed.

Your day to day

The Houseman / Maintenance Assistant plays a dual role in supporting the housekeeping and maintenance departments. This individual is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of hotel common areas, assisting housekeeping staff, and helping with basic maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the hotel.

What we need from you

Houseman Duties:

• Assist housekeeping staff with delivery and retrieval of linens, towels, and supplies.

• Maintain cleanliness of public areas, such as lobbies, hallways, stairwells, restrooms, and elevators.

• Collect trash and debris from guest areas and dispose of it properly.

• Set up and break down event rooms or meeting spaces as needed.

• Respond promptly to guest requests and assist with luggage or other services as required.

• Report lost and found items to the appropriate department.

Maintenance Assistant Duties:

• Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing minor plumbing or electrical issues, and painting touch-ups.

• Assist maintenance staff with larger repair or renovation projects.

• Conduct routine inspections of hotel facilities and equipment to identify issues.

• Report safety hazards or maintenance needs promptly to supervisors.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and storage areas in clean and organized condition.
