Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Officer to solicit, develop, and manage a portfolio of commercial loans and financial products. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for members and prospects, ensuring an outstanding lending experience while driving growth and building trusted relationships. This role requires a motivated individual with a proven sales track record and deep knowledge of commercial lending products, regulations, and best practices.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Market, develop, and implement business development strategies to meet lending and member growth goals
• Represent the organization within the business community to promote our reputation as the lender of choice
• Solicit and process loan applications, ensuring accurate data collection and exceptional service throughout the process
• Act as the primary contact for members, providing timely communication and solutions
• Maintain knowledge of market trends, regulations, and commercial lending products
• Cross-sell additional products and services to deepen member relationships
• Actively manage and grow an existing commercial loan portfolio
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations

Requirements

• Existing commercial loan portfolio
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
• 3-5 years of experience in commercial or business lending within a progressive financial services environment
• Strong knowledge of commercial products, services, and applicable regulations
• Proven success in a sales and production-focused role within the financial services industry
• Ability to build strong partnerships and represent the organization within the business community
• Personal smartphone required for multi-factor authentication
• Ability to sit frequently, walk occasionally, and lift up to 10 lbs occasionally
