Genesis10 is currently seeking a Google Cloud Engineer with our client in the financial Industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering Contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors Assist in resolving moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering Required Qualifications: 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education 4-6 years of hands-on experience with Python, database development, Power BI report development, data ETL, and querying in a big data environment Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including deployment and operations Expertise in Kubernetes and Docker containerization Proficiency with Apache Spark for big data processing Experience with API development and integration Hands-on experience with Django, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools Experience with Postgres SQL Database and other technology integration tools Ability to work independently and contribute effectively in a collaborative environment Pay Range: $44-54 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
