Founded in 2012, Invisible North is a female-owned creative marketing agency headquartered in NYC with global reach. We are a team of culturally fluent strategists, creatives, designers and producers pushing the limits of possibility. Together we champion creativity and build thoughtful experiences and content that solve business problems and bring brands to life.

We are seeking a design student/graduate with graphic design skills to support the Invisible North creative team. This position offers hands-on experience with a fast-growing creative marketing agency. You will be involved in all stages of a project from initial concept to design execution and creative production. Applicants should have a relevant portfolio with advertising/marketing/branding applications and all necessary technical skills. We want you to love what you do, so a passion for art, fashion, design, film, music and/or social activism is required.

This is a temporary, hourly paid position; Invisible North is not a degree-granting or educational institution so any school credit earned from this experience shall be granted through your current educational program.

While our main office is located in DUMBO Brooklyn, we work as a distributed team with members reaching from Maine to LA, and everywhere in between. This role can be remote, in-office, or hybrid, working on ET hours.

Fall internship dates are flexible. Roughly September 2, 2025 - December 19, 2025

Roles + Responsibilities

• Work alongside the creative team to generate and produce creative assets, including moodboards, mock-ups, print/digital graphics, decks, and more
• Participate in the creative research process to develop unique ideas and impactful concepts. Bring these ideas to life by sourcing imagery, creating visual assets, and all other design-related tasks
• Prepare production-ready files for execution of digital and print designs

Skills + Qualifications

• Clear communication style, an ability to work collaboratively with others and a strong sense of community and team spirit
• Excellent time management skills, demonstrated ability to organize, set and implement priorities while balancing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
• Very comfortable with new technology/design programs (Midjourney, etc), Google Slides, email/chat, and IT troubleshooting
• Experienced in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign,, Microsoft Office, Google Docs, (HTML, CSS, motion design, video editing, animation and photography a plus)
• Self-starter, proactive, organized, flexible and eager to learn

Compensation

Hourly rate: $25/hr, 40 hrs/wk
