JOB SUMMARY:

Utah Mammoth is looking for a Graphic Design Intern to join their Creative Team for the 25/26 season. Working under the direction of a Senior Designer, this position will be responsible for assisting in the development and creation of high-quality digital and print graphics across several brand touchpoints while adhering to brand guidelines. Our ideal candidate is a strong communicator, passionate, intuitive, hard-working, detail-oriented, organized, and knowledgeable in the latest trends and practices in design. Must be comfortable working on multiple projects at once, working in a team setting, willing to receive feedback and offer up ideas. Internship runs from July 1, 2025 (flexible) to June 30, 2026. Candidates must provide a design portfolio for review.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and develop visual and creative concepts based off the needs of the project under the guidance of the Senior Designer and Art Director
• Assist design team with daily tasks creating digital and print-based graphics for Utah Mammoth, Delta Center and their properties
• Continually develop design skills, actively ask questions, and strive to learn
• Collaborate in a team environment
• Protect the reputation of the company
• Exemplify the Utah Mammoth mission and values: transparent, all in, community obsessed, one team, and scrappy
• Accept other duties, as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Preferred but not required: Undergraduate Junior or Senior studying Graphic Design or a related field
• Able to work at the office in Sandy, UT for 20 to 30 hours per week
• Web or PDF portfolio demonstrating strong and relevant graphic design skills
• Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite on MacOS
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work and communicate in a team environment
• Able to navigate quick turnarounds and short deadlines
• Able to adapt and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and challenge yourself
• Knowledge and passion for hockey is a bonus!

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to communicate and express yourself both written and verbally
• Must be able to observe, inspect, estimate and assess
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds
