• Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 3 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. There are an average of 15-18 patients per shift. The position follows an outpatient clinic schedule from Monday to Friday, providing 36 hours of patient care or ambulatory clinic coverage per week, with flexible hours between 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Hospital call coverage occurs every 4th or 5th week for one full week at a time, with weekday hospital visits for new consults and weekend rounding on Saturday and/or Sunday. The practice model focuses primarily on outpatient care, with the on-call provider handling new hospital consults and nurse practitioners rounding on existing patients. New consults are assigned to the on-call provider after evaluation. The patient mix consists of approximately 70% oncology and 30% hematology, primarily benign cases.
