The Pharmacist provides evidence-based patient centered pharmacy services to patients of Baptist Health Floyd. The Pharmacist assists in advising physicians on matters pertaining to drug usage and control within hospital locations, participates in the development of continuing education for Pharmacy Services, Patient Care Services, and Medical Staff. The Pharmacist provides high quality patient centered care services with a focus on quality measures, supervises daily activities of support personnel, and promotes cost-effective drug use and quality patient care. Requirements include graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy, current Indiana Pharmacist License or eligibility for one, BLS for Healthcare Providers, ACLS certification within 6 months of hire, 3-5 years Acute Care experience preferred, completion of an ASHP accredited residency preferred, and BCPS or other advanced certification preferred. The position is full-time, 3rd shift, 7 on 7 off, and sign on bonus eligible.
