General Summary:
As an Inventory Flow Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining our inventory and ensuring exceptional customer service under general supervision. Your responsibilities will include vehicle receiving and shipping, inventory scanning, vehicle movement, lot maintenance, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow established processes in accordance with work instructions and standardized procedures.
• Participate in team problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in training new associates, guided by Inventory Associate II and/or the Manager.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to internal and external clients.
• Ensure the maintenance and security of display areas and work-in-progress zones.
• Receive and prep vehicles shipped to CarMax, including managing vehicle and title packets for shipping.
• Conduct inventory scanning to maintain accurate vehicle statuses.
• Perform wash and vacuum services for returned and loaner vehicles, and maintain lot cleanliness.
• Utilize the Photo Station process to take accurate images and upload to carmax.com.
• Safely operate vehicles both on and off the lot for various purposes, including maintenance and storage.
• Support Auctions as needed.
• Maintain workplace organization following CarMax 5S standards.
• Complete other duties as assigned by Flow Inventory Associate IVs and Management.

Minimum Qualifications:
This position requires the following:

• A valid driver’s license meeting CarMax DSEPS standards.
• Ability to read, interpret, and document data accurately.
• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Capability to execute defined processes and complete training certifications.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely.

Working Conditions:

• You may work in both indoor and outdoor environments, occasionally in noisy or inclement weather.
• Flexible hours are required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• This role involves walking or standing for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
• You will wear CarMax clothing (provided by the company) at all times while on duty.
• Adhere to all CarMax and safety standards, including using Personal Protective Equipment.
