Position Reporting To Service Owner, ABB Products Your Role and Responsibilities In this role, you will own software solution architecture across multiple categories, ensuring alignment with enterprise and data architecture standards. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the integrity and quality of Information Systems (IS) solutions and services delivered to the business. Your expertise will be showcased through consulting, advising, and supporting the installation or modification of IS solutions/services. The work model for this role is #LI #Onsite. This position contributes to IS Services either in India or globally. You will be mainly accountable for: Ensuring IS solutions/services meet functional requirements, business expectations, and are reliable, maintainable, compliant, and auditable. Managing and monitoring software development, analyzing data to improve solutions continually. Collaborating on project setup, delivery, and service operations optimization. Designing and architecting enterprise-level applications with scalability, performance, and reliability. Consulting with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide expert guidance on best practices and technical solutions. Developing high-quality, maintainable code using .NET Framework, C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features. Documenting architectural decisions, system designs, and code for maintainability and knowledge sharing. Qualifications for the Role Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior or lead role within a software development team. Preferred certification: ITIL 4 Foundation. Responsible for a suite of applications, including Product Image Repository and xClass, with potential to replace the current dev lead/main architect as part of succession planning.
