Hiring: Junior Event Manager
Pay: $65,000–$68,000/year + Bonus Opportunity
Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid Opportunity)
Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday
**Evenings and Weekend Availability a MUST.

Position Summary

The Junior Event Manager will coordinate and manage private events with the responsibility for post-sale client management as well as ensuring the events themselves run smoothly and efficiently. The Junior Event Manager will also support Event Managers in the management and execution of events. This position requires a calm demeanor during fast paced and intense situations, attentiveness to all aspects of an event, and the ability to easily communicate and manage an event. This position will report directly to the Director of Events.

Role Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in event administration, client management, and event execution
• Proven background and knowledge of strategizing and executing on-premise events.
• Appreciation and general understanding of the hospitality, food, and wine business.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills; results oriented.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
• Able and willing to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be proficient in tools such as tripleseat, merri, social tables, google doc, word, excel
• Knowledge of and appreciation of wine strongly preferred
