Job Summary:

We are seeking a Laboratory Technician with a background in biology or related life sciences to support day-to-day lab operations. This is an excellent opportunity for junior candidates or recent college graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic laboratory environment. The successful candidate will assist with routine lab tasks, equipment maintenance, and sample handling, while ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine laboratory tasks under supervision

• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment

• Follow aseptic techniques and safety protocols

• Assist with cell culture preparation and maintenance (preferred)

• Document procedures and results accurately

• Support lab inventory and ordering supplies

• Adhere to all SOPs and lab guidelines

• Collaborate effectively with lab personnel and cross-functional teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related Life Science field

• Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment and practices

• Familiarity with aseptic techniques; cell culture experience is a plus

• Lab experience through coursework, academic labs, or internships

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing priorities

• Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn

Preferred Background:

• Recent graduates or junior candidates with hands-on lab coursework or internship experience

• Biology-focused academic background
