Summary:

Flowserve is looking for a Machine Operator (Deburr/Grind) at our manufacturing facility in Taneytown, MD. The individual will perform a variety of tasks within our Burr and Balance department including precision tool grinding, the use of overhead jib cranes, and inspection equipment. Shift: 2nd shift (Monday-Thursday, 3:30pm -2:00 am)

Responsibilities:

• Utilize hand tools to deburr, cut, and polish parts
• Operate overhead and jib cranes to lift and move heavy parts
• Will be required to work in other areas of department when needed
• Will use hand tools, air tools, die grinders and hand drills
• Responsible for accurate completion of certification reports
• Adhere to all Safety Procedures & Policy. Complete all Pure Safety and other safety training as required

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a team-oriented and CIP environment
• Ability to follow complex verbal and written instructions
• Basic shop math skills
• Able to stand for long periods, repetitive arm motions, frequent lifting with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work overtime as required
• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in using pneumatic air tools.

The pay range for this position is 19.34 - 28.98 USD Hourly
