I am currently sourcing for a Dermatology experienced Medical Assistant to join our team in Frisco, TX! This is for a Dermatology Specialty practice!

Dermatology experience preferred, but NOT required!

Qualifications:

• Team player.
• Punctual.
• Must have experience with both back and front office duties!!
• Previous dermatology or plastics experience.

Responsibilities:

• Phone triage to access patient needs when scheduling appointments and tests.
• Order lab tests and/or perform phlebotomy.
• Check vitals.
• Injections/blood draws.
• Clean and stock exam rooms.
• Review patient medical records for accuracy and completeness.
• Refill prescriptions.
• Assist physician in exam room.
• Maintain and promote HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
• Other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Completion of approved medical assistant training program with proof of current certification.
• Must have a high school diploma or a GED.
• Must have a minimum of 1-2 years recent on the job experience.
• Rheumatology experience also accepted.
