Summary: The Natural Gas Analyst, Contract Negotiators primary responsibility is to draft and negotiate Natural Gas and Retail Power contracts, NAESBs, Master Agreements and Service Agreements. Additional responsibilities may include client engagement contracts, nondisclosure agreements, customer supply agreements, with and on behalf of new and existing Kinect Energy clients. Position provides direct support to the Legal, Sales and Commercial Services teams. As such, it requires direct and frequent interaction with clients, energy suppliers, utilities, and Kinect Energy and World Fuel Services employees. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Draft new business contracts and amend existing ones as needed.
• Review, negotiate and maintain standardized contract templates and provisions and administer other agreements.
• Review, interpret, negotiate, and administer client engagement and related contracts, supply agreements, business development, other trading contracts (i.e., retail agreements and/or long forms), related contracts and ancillary documentation.
• Verify and maintain organizational compliance with contract terms, regulations, and processes.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the Natural Gas and Retail Power sector.
• File and label all contractual correspondence and emails in following Kinect documentation retention process.
• Maintain shared outlook mailbox's, by responding timely with accurate information to both external and internal customers.
• Maintain customer/entity legal name and hierarchy/corporate organization verifications.
• Assist with internal projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Degree level or possess an equivalent level of business and industry experience.
• 3+ years business experience with Natural Gas or Retail Power contractual negotiations and business law.
• Strong knowledge of natural gas and power markets
• Solid understanding of risk management principles and experience in mitigating market and operational risks.
• International experience is preferrable.
