The items listed are considered daily functions associated with this position. Develop and design scalable, resilient, and secure network architectures to meet organizational needs Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and align network strategies with business objectives Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls) and software Lead the deployment of networking solutions and manage changes in the production environment Monitor network performance , identify bottlenecks, and ensure maximum uptime. Investigate and resolve complex network issues, including root cause analysis and preventive actions. Implement and enforce network security policies, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Continuously evaluate and optimize network performance. Research and recommend upgrades, new technologies, or tools to enhance network capabilities. Document network configurations, changes, and operational procedures. Maintain an up-to-date inventory of network assets and configurations. Work closely with IT teams, vendors, and external partners to address network-related needs. Provide advanced technical support for escalated issues and mentor junior engineers. Lead or participate in network-related projects, including planning, execution, and post-implementation review. Manage timelines, resources, and communication for successful project delivery.
