Job Description
In this Pick/Pack position you are responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the efficient operation of the warehouse. This includes picking, packing, and general warehouse duties. The ideal candidate is a hardworking, reliable, and detail-oriented individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Picking:
  • Accurately picking orders according to pick lists or order tickets.
  • Ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected.
  • Operating warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts - if certified) safely and efficiently.
• Packing:
  • Packing orders securely and appropriately for shipment, considering fragility and shipping requirements.
  • Preparing shipping labels and ensuring accurate address information.
  • Creating necessary packing slips and other shipping documentation.
• General Warehouse Duties:
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Reporting any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions.
  • Assisting with other warehouse tasks as needed.
  • Communicating effectively with supervisors and other team members.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not always required.
• Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 40 lbs) repeatedly.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack, hand truck) is beneficial.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving of objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and noise levels within the warehouse environment.

Work Environment:

• Warehouse environment with potential exposure to dust, noise, and temperature variations.
• May involve working around moving machinery.
• Safety shoes and other personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
