ConMet’s Plant Manager leads all aspects of plant operations across both union and non-union sites in Clackamas, OR and Vancouver, WA. In this high-impact senior level role, you'll drive operations, P&L, and team performance, while investing in people and fostering innovation. This role reports to the Director of Operations.

What You’ll Do

• Determine and establish long-term and short-term objectives aligned with business strategy, financial targets, and sales forecasts.
• Own the plant’s overall P&L performance.
• Develop and submit an Annual Plan and Capital Expense budget.
• Prepare weekly operating forecasts, measure results, and develop corrective actions as needed.
• Execute plans within established budgets.
• Actively coach, develop, and empower your team members.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing methods, workflow, equipment, and techniques. Drive cost reduction projects across the plant.
• Plan, organize, and implement controls and KPIs to ensure efficient and cost-effective achievement of Safety, Productivity, Cost, Quality, and Customer Satisfaction objectives.
• Work directly with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve quality issues and lead root cause analysis/action plans.
• Regularly present plant performance to division and corporate leadership and engage with plant employees at all levels.
• Ensure products meet quality standards; oversee product testing, root cause analysis, and implementation of improvements.

What We’re Looking For

• 7-10+ years of manufacturing operations experience
• 5-10+ years of progressive leadership experience
• Heavy manufacturing experience required; automotive sector experience highly desired
• Bachelors’s degree in Engineering or related experience
• Experience in an ISO or IATF16949 certified manufacturing environment
• Experience implementing lean manufacturing
• Servant leader with proven strong financial, operational, and people management skills
