About Us

New Song Preschool is currently seeking energetic, creative, and loving preschool teachers to join our teaching team as soon as possible. New Song Preschool focuses on the whole child in supporting academic, social-emotional, spiritual, and cognitive development. We believe that skill and knowledge are gained through experience in a play-based environment. By providing a warm and welcoming environment, children will feel safe exploring and gain a sense of belonging in the community around them. Our developmentally appropriate curriculum fosters each child’s creativity, communication skills, critical thinking skills, self-awareness, problem solving, collaboration, physical development and much more. We are committed to providing a safe, comfortable, high-quality learning environment that will create a pathway to future success and achievement for children.

We are hiring for teaching positions in our preschool. Must have to be considered for this position:

• Minimum of 12 ECE units that cover the general areas of (1) Child Growth and Development or Human Growth and Development, (2) Child, Family, & Community or Child & Family, and (3) Program/Curriculum, and (4) an early-childhood-related elective OR hold a valid CDA credential OR Child Development Teaching Permit OR Minimum of 6 ECE units and working towards the required 12 ECE units
• You must have a passion for teaching and providing a Christian education.

Responsibilities:

As a Preschool Teacher at New Song Preschool, you will:

• Create a Christ-centered Learning Environment:
• Infuse biblical principles into daily lessons and activities.
• Foster spiritual growth and character development in young learners.
• Plan and Implement Curriculum:
• Develop age-appropriate lesson plans that align with our Christian values.
• Encourage exploration, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Provide Loving Care:
• Nurture each child’s physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
• Create a safe and welcoming atmosphere where children feel loved and valued.
• Collaborate with Parents:
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child’s progress.
• Partner with families to reinforce Christian teachings at home.
• Lead Classroom Activities:
• Conduct circle time, art projects, music, and play-based learning.
• Guide children in social interactions and problem-solving.

Qualifications:

• Passion for Christian Education:
• A genuine love for the Lord and a desire to share biblical truths with young children.
• Educational Background:
• Must have high school diploma or GED
• Job Requirements:
• Completion and cleared background check of a Livescan fingerprint assessment.
• Completion of a physical, signed off by a doctor, including a negative TB test and required immunizations up to date.
• Pediatric CPR & First-Aid certified, or willing to become certified.
• Experience:
• Previous experience working in a preschool setting.
• Familiarity with child development milestones.
• Team Player:
• Ability to collaborate with fellow teachers, staff, and parents.
