A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Prior Authorization Pharmacist – Remote. Can be located anywhere in the US but needs to be licensed in North Carolina!
The Pharmacist would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full-time / 30+ hours per week.

Compensation

• The pay for this position is $53.00 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Highlights

• The required availability for this position is Monday – Friday, 11am - 730pm EST
• This is a remote position but you must be licensed in North Carolina

Responsibilities

• • Review prior authorization requests and make coverage determinations using clinical criteria and plan design
• • Verify insurance coverage, interpret clinical guidelines, and consult with providers
• • Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and prior authorization team to answer clinical questions and process referrals
• • Conduct inbound and outbound calls with providers, healthcare teams, and patients to resolve cases
• • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of drug and disease states for specialty and non-specialty programs
• • Use clinical resources such as Micromedex, Lexicomp, Clinical Pharmacology
• • Perform additional duties including training participation, meetings, and on-call support as needed

Requirements

• • Active, unrestricted North Carolina pharmacist license in good standing (must be listed on resume)
• • Minimum home internet speed: 25 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload (must be listed on resume)
• • Bachelor’s or Doctorate in Pharmacy (BS Pharm or Pharm.D.)
• • Clinical pharmacy and call center experience required
• • Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills
• • Strong attention to detail, organization, and decision-making skills
• • Smartphone required to download VPN token
• • Must have a private and secure home workspace

Work-from-Home Requirements:

• Must supply own high-speed internet and provide internet provider and speed on resume

• Must maintain a dedicated, secure, and distraction-free workspace

• Teleworker privacy practices and workspace security standards must be followed

• Ability to secure CVS Health property and confidential information at all times
