As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at important government locations. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This is an armed and driving post, so you will be entrusted with both the responsibility of carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as you monitor the premises. You will interact with the public and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of Allied Universal. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur12:00 AM - 08:00 AMFri08:00 PM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site protocols.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Assist law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required for positions that primarily involve driving, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. This is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
