About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel with a strong background in commercial transactions to join their legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and providing legal advice on a variety of complex commercial contracts. This includes agreements related to content distribution, social media, sponsorship, consumer products, licensing, production, event operations, and more. The role also involves providing legal support for M&A transactions, litigation, IP management, and regulatory matters, as well as offering comprehensive legal counsel to internal business units and executives. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a leading law firm or corporate legal department, with a focus on commercial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in contract drafting and negotiation, be adept at managing and tracking contractual obligations, and have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are essential, as is the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and international colleagues. The role requires a professional with the flexibility to handle multiple priorities and a commitment to implementing and refining policies for efficient contract administration.
