About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President of Sales for Alternative Investments Distribution. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team of External Wholesalers, with a primary focus on driving sales initiatives and expanding distribution channels for investment products across various markets. This role is pivotal in developing and maintaining relationships with financial advisors, broker-dealers, and other distribution partners to ensure the successful sale of investment products. Key responsibilities include conducting in-person meetings, presentations, and training sessions to educate clients, collaborating with marketing and product development teams to create effective sales strategies, and monitoring industry trends to identify new business opportunities. Applicants for this role at The Company should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with additional certifications such as FINRA Series 7 and 63 being a plus. A minimum of 15 years' experience in sales, distribution, or wholesaling within the financial services industry is required, along with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of investment products and financial markets, excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite is also necessary.
