**LIVE-IN POSITION BEGINS LATE 2026. LOOKING TO FIND SOMEONE TO FILL THIS ROLE AND BEGIN PART-TIME CARE CURRENTLY SO AS TO INTRODUCE YOU TO OUR DAUGHTER AND HAVE CAREGIVER BECOME COMFORTABLE AND TRAINED IN HER ROUTINES/BEHAVIORS** In search of a full-time, female experienced caregiver to live alone with a young female adult. Experience with special needs care is preferred to best support both yourself and our daughter. This position requires early weekday morning, evening availability, as she will be in a day program all day M-F. Caregiver will also care for her three weekends a month. As this position is full-time there are PTO benefits included as well as housing provided as you would live with her in a two bedroom apartment with your own accommodations taken care of. Our daughter functions at the level of a five year old, both mentally and physically. She is unable to make decisions for herself, so the carer will be in a type of parental role. AM schedule is light, preparing her for school, including toileting/self care, administering medication, and preparing and monitoring breakfast. During the day she will be attending a program from about 8AM-5PM, which are the carer’s off hours. Once she is finished with her program at 5PM, the carer would begin after school care, including dinner and monitor her eating and down time. Then eventually starting her nighttime routine, including bathing and administering PM medication. She is usually in bed by 7:30-8PM and sleeps 11-12 hours. This position requires that you are in the home with her overnight, or close by viewing her in a monitor to ensure her safety. Weekend care is all day Saturday and Sunday, excluding one weekend a month where she comes home with her family. Responsibilities include: preparing light meals, supporting in building housework skills with her (to support a clean and organized environment), occasional driving to and from nearby activities, maintaining healthy routines for her both mentally and physically, being comfortable supporting and enforcing rules that support healthy emotional and mental routines for her, AM/PM routines, medication administration, basic hygienic care (bathing, teeth brushing, toilet, grooming), creating a positive and caring space to continue to develop her lifestyle skills.
