Job Description

BJG Electronics is the premier domestic, and international supplier of electronic interconnect products to all major military and aerospace manufacturers. BJG Electronics is looking for a Warehouse Associate who will be responsible for assisting in all facets of the daily functions of the warehouse. This individual will perform a variety of warehouse duties which may include packing, pulling/checking orders, replenishment, shipping and material handling, good undemanding of cycle counting, FIFO and best shipping practices, assisting in the training of new and existing personnel. Responsibilities: Pick order by reading pick tickets, label and complete necessary paperwork to achieve agreed turn-round targets Pack orders as required by BJG work instructions or specific customer requirements Perform Cycle Counting, Inventory control and vendor management inventory Receive deliveries, check quantities, check receiving documentation Relocate inspected components as required by BJG work instructions Order and replenish consumables Correctly operate barcode scanners in order picking and relocating processes Participate in forklift certification, recertification as required Maintain a clean and safe work environment Assist with warehouse training programs Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent 2-5 years of experience in an electronic distribution center warehouse or equivalent Computer literate: Microsoft Office, UPS World Ship, FedEx Ship Manager Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform specified tasks Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize work load Ability to count accurately and verify others work Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment (50lbs) some of which may be heavy or awkward Job Type: Full Time Pay: $18.00 per hour BJG Electronics is an Equal Opportunity Employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
