Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description Join a dynamic team where you will be involved in picking and filling orders within a fast-paced environment. Your primary focus will be on the Hub & Spoke side of the business, which encompasses receiving, housing, picking, packing, and shipping products from various locations to distribution centers nationwide. Responsibilities Receive, house, pick, pack, and ship products efficiently. Utilize warehouse equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners for inventory control. Handle materials and manage stock levels. Ensure timely loading and shipping of goods. Maintain accurate inventory records. Essential Skills Experience in warehouse distribution. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced environment. Experience standing for the duration of an 8+ hour shift. Additional Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in forklift operation and inventory control. Experience in picking, packing, and material handling. Why Work Here? Work Environment The warehouse operates with multiple shifts, including openings on the 2nd shift with varying hours. The facility has around 315 employees and offers flexibility in choosing shifts. Dress code is casual with no requirement for steel-toed shoes, allowing shorts and providing high-visibility vests or t-shirts. The workplace is located on U.S Route 14, with convenient parking and clear instructions for orientation on the first day. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harvard, Illinois. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.10 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
