Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Warehouse PIT Operator to become an integral part of our energetic team. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in safely operating Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT), including forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers, along with a history of adhering to safety protocols and organizational standards.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) to move, stack, and retrieve materials throughout the warehouse.


• Load and unload goods from delivery trucks and containers accurately.


• Organize products in designated areas, ensuring optimal stacking for both stability and safety.


• Perform daily inspections on PIT equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs.


• Keep all workspaces clean and organized at all times.


• Follow all safety protocols and adhere to company policies diligently.


• Participate in inventory checks and assist with quality control as required.


• This position is for the 3rd shift , and the ideal candidate must be available to work overnight hours.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience as a PIT Operator in a warehouse setting.


• A valid PIT operator certification or license is preferred.


• Demonstrated ability to operate various PIT equipment, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers.


• Comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations along with safety protocols.


• Ability to work independently while also functioning as an effective team member.


• Strong communication skills and excellent organizational abilities.


• Physically able to lift weights up to 50 lbs and stand for prolonged periods.

Salary/Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
