Job Description

Talascend is currently seeking a Welder for a contract opportunity located in Torrance, CA.



Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform welding tasks to fabricate or repair metal structures and components.
• Interpret technical documents such as blueprints and schematics.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and durability.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-4 years of relevant welding experience preferred.
• May require completion of an apprenticeship or formal training in welding.
• Familiarity with common welding concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under close supervision.

Special Considerations:

• Must be able to lift over 30 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Expected exposure to machinery, chemicals, or other physical risks.
