Location:  Menlo Park or San Mateo

Hours: Part time, Sample Schedule: 2:20-6 pm, M, T, W, F & 1:20-6 pm Th.

Compensation: $22-$35 per hour, Depending on experience and education

Required Qualifications:

Must be 18 years or older.

Experience working with children.

Have completed 6 units or more Early Childhood Education or college level recreational courses.

Preferred Qualifications:

Have completed an AA, B.A., or B.S., Degree in Early Childhood Education or similar subject

1-year or more experience working in a Child Care Facility, Preschool or Camp

EMSA CPR/First Aid

Preventative Health Training

Key Responsibilities:  Works in a classroom with a group of children by performing the following duties:

• leads and presents hands on learning activities;
• assists children complete and correct homework;
• maintains proper supervision of children throughout the day;
• implements health and safety protocol;
• distributes snacks to children;
• models positive reinforcement tools to assist in behavior modification;
• communicates professionally and timely with staff supervisors, children, and/or parents.
