Job Description

International Chemicals (ICC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of SMC Global (SMC) a U.S.-based global manufacturer and supplier of high-quality chemical products and services to key industries including Oilfield Services, Paints & Coatings, Agriculture, Mining, Plating & Electronics, and Construction. ICC is hiring a Truck Dispatcher to work on-site in San Angelo, TX. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-directed, organized, and DOT knowledgeable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with production, customer service, logistics, and sales to schedule all deliveries, backhauls, and tank washes.
• Monitor EDL, dashcam footage, alerts, and location tracking.
• Supervisor drivers.
• Generate monthly cost/expense reports and effectively manage costs.
• Prepare shipping documents.
• Monitor ISO container telemetry.
• Coordinate with hotshot drivers as needed.
• Work closely with inventory and planning to assign/create lot numbers, packing lists, COA, BOL, and shipping documents.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, FMCSA, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, driver logs, and trip reports.
• Provide excellent customer service and support.
• Coordinate with warehouses for stock transfers, pick-ups, and deliveries.
• Track equipment and log inspections and maintenance to ensure safety and DOT compliance.
• Coordinate training of drivers.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dispatcher in trucking is required.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation logistics.
