Job Title: Document Processing Clerk
Location: Bloomington, MN
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Saturday work possible based on workload but not mandatory)

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Processing Clerk to support our daily operations in a fast-paced mailroom environment. This hands-on position is ideal for individuals who excel in a structured setting.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and open incoming mail and documents efficiently using slicers or manual methods.
• Sort mail into appropriate categories (e.g., auto recalls, complaints, payments, checks).
• Identify next steps: scanning, filing, or processing according to client needs.
• Accurately enter data for document tracking and processing.
• Lift and handle mailroom boxes (up to 30 lbs., 1-2 times per day).
• Adhere to procedures and training to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members while maintaining confidentiality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Pass a criminal background check and education/employment verification.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with standard office software.
• Proficient data entry skills with a focus on accuracy.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and meet daily goals.
• Willingness to work in a mailroom and handle physical mail.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Comfortable lifting and moving mail bins weighing 25+ lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods.

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

• Experience in a mailroom environment.
• Background in banking, auto loan, or insurance sectors.

Work Schedule:

• Start Time: 7:00 AM (potentially as early as 6:00 AM during peak periods).
• End Time: 3:30 PM.
• Days Off: Saturday and Sunday (Saturday work may be required based on production needs).

Note: We are not hiring in certain geographies including but not limited to states like AK, CT, CA, NY, and others. Pay is $17/hour, which may be below the minimum wage in some states; please consider this when applying.
