Job Overview

The Entry Level Technician performs a variety of pharmacy related tasks including but not limited to:

Responsibilities and Duties

• Treating patients with the highest professional and ethical standards
• Ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for our patients and they demonstrate ethical conduct and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team's ability to promptly, safely and accurately fill patient prescriptions all while providing caring service that exceeds customer expectations
• Ability to move within the pharmacy in data entry, production, and laboratory.
• Other Duties As Assigned.

Education and Experience

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Certified Pharmacy Technician a plus
• Experience: No experience required, we will train you

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Attention to Detail is a must.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to lift 40 lbs
• Standards for quality, cleanliness and safety must be consistently met.
• Must be collaborative and able to perform as part of a team
• Knowledge of and follow applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ability to take direction from the Pharmacist.
• Must have a deep understanding of applicable regulations and adhere to them at all times.
• Knowledge of applicable pharmacy software a plus(s).
• Ability to read, write, and perform simple math.
