Firm:
Ryan Family Law Group needs a junior to experienced family law litigator, for either contract or part-time work, along with full-time work for the right candidate. Candidate located near Bay Area, California preferred. Must be CA Bar passed.
Looking for self-starter who has high standards, possesses excellent writing skills, and a keen intellect. Opportunity to set your own hours subject to appearance needs. Position is fully remote. Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Legal Solutions, Lexis/Westlaw, and Clio, a plus.
Expected Duties:
Ideal candidate should have family law experience via course work, working as paralegal (or law clerk), volunteer, or internship work. Desire candidate with commitment to gain significant, focused, experience in all aspects of family law litigation. Specifically, the successful candidate will be expected to quickly gain proficiency in the following:
- Pleadings, motions (or RFOs), declarations, points and authorities, and all aspects of litigation and discovery.
- Online research.
- Settlement and trial briefs.
- Evidence to be introduced at hearings and trials, to include working on exhibits.
- Making court appearances on assigned cases.
- Working independently with clients.
Need to have passed the California Bar exam have California Driver’s license, and have insurance for vehicle they will be driving to hearings when needed.
Expected Salary:
From $50.00 to $100.00 per hour (depending on experience). If candidate becomes full-time, salary would range from $80,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year.
