Project Lead

• Position: Project Lead
• Location: Boca Raton, FL (on-site)
• Compensation: $65/hr - $70/hr 1099 or C2C

Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the full life cycle of IT projects from planning through implementation, with a focus on hitting deadlines, budgets, and quality metrics.
• Lead cross-functional teams (and sometimes cross-your-fingers dependencies) across multiple projects.
• Build project schedules, craft detailed project plans, monitor daily workstreams, and keep everyone aligned like a well-oiled Kanban board.
• Anticipate issues before they become problems—then calmly slay them like a true professional.
• Collaborate with business units, stakeholders, vendors, and senior leadership to ensure goals are not only met, but championed.
• Monitor key milestones, adjusting resources and plans like the agile ninja you are.
• Apply best practices in project management, resource allocation, and change management to drive outcomes and accountability.
• Serve as the liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure clear, consistent communication.

Required Skills:

• PMP certification required.
• Minimum 5 years of IT work experience, with at least 3 years leading IT projects.
• Proven ability to manage projects involving multiple technologies and departments.
• Solid understanding of SDLC processes and methodologies.
• Experience managing IT infrastructure projects and third-party vendor deliverables.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
