Sun Scientific is an innovative medical device company dedicated to developing solutions that improve patient outcomes and clinical workflows. We are entering an exciting phase of growth, driven by product innovation and market expansion, and we're looking for a seasoned sales leader to join our executive team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Sales to lead our commercial strategy and drive revenue growth across our portfolio of medical device products. The ideal candidate has a strong track record of success in the medical device industry , outstanding leadership skills, and the ability to build and scale a high-performing sales organization.

This is an in-person role based in the Tri-State area (NY/NJ/CT) and requires close collaboration with executive leadership, marketing, and product development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute Sun Scientific’s sales strategy across key market segments and geographies.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-impact sales team with a focus on hitting revenue targets and expanding market share.
  • Cultivate relationships with key customers, health systems, distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities, manage the sales pipeline, and forecast growth accurately.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align sales efforts with brand strategy, product launches, and lead generation.
  • Partner with product and R&D teams to deliver market feedback and inform product development.
  • Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in medical device sales, with a proven track record of leadership and revenue generation.
  • Experience in building or scaling national or regional sales teams within a fast-paced, regulated industry.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare systems, procurement processes, and sales cycles for Class I–III medical devices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with CRM systems, data-driven forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Base salary of $200,000 annually , with performance-based bonuses and incentives
