Insight Global is seeking a local contract Outpatient Pharmacist for a local contract job in Seattle, Washington.

This starts off as a 6 month contract with the possibility to extend or possibility to convert for interested and reliable employees.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, No weekends, No nights, No on-call requirements, day shift, 8 hour shift between 7am - 6pm
Location: North Seattle, near Northgate
Pay: $65-$73/HR depending on years of pharmacy and pharmacy oncology specific experience
Responsibilities:

• Prepare oncology-related medications and compounded pharmaceutical preparations, which include labeling and maintenance of patient records.
• Direct pharmacy technicians, technicians in training, interns, and assistants in all areas of technical responsibilities.
• Ensure that controlled substances are properly stored, dispensed, recorded, and inventoried.
• Monitor oncology-related medication therapy for rational use.
• Participate in drug utilization review data collection and assessment.
• Communicate with providers and patients regarding medications that have been prescribed.
• Know and follow all Pharmacy Department and Clinic policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal laws.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy
• Doctor of pharmacy (PharmD) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited School of Pharmacy
• One year of experience in pharmacy practice or completion of an American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists accredited residency training program.
• State of Washington Pharmacist license.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse teams
• Experience in oncology pharmacy practice

Preferred:

• Experience with Epic Willow and Beacon Oncology Applications
