Machine Operator – 3rd shift

Key Responsibilities:
Operate & Monitor Equipment:
Set up, operate, and monitor pouch line machinery to ensure proper packaging, including calibrating temperature, sealing, and cutting settings at the start of the shift.
Production Efficiency & Troubleshooting:
Control machine speed and load for efficient production; perform minor mechanical adjustments and basic troubleshooting as needed.
Team Supervision & Training:
Supervise, motivate, and train line employees in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
Recordkeeping & Labeling:
Maintain accurate production records and ensure all packaging is correctly labeled in compliance with company standards.
Sanitation & Maintenance:
Clean machinery and the work area during and after shifts; assist the sanitation team as required, and perform other duties assigned by supervisors or management.
Schedule:
3rd Shift: Monday–Friday, 9:45 PM–6:00 AM
Overtime: Mandatory as needed, including Saturdays
Location: Addison, IL (Entrance on Belden | Free company-owned parking lot — first come, first served; carpooling or getting a ride is recommended)
Pay:
$18 per hour
What You’ll Need:
1+ year of machine operator experience in a food production setting
Ability to work independently and follow safety and quality guidelines
Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
Comfortable with repetitive tasks, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling, and twisting
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
